Misery Mine

THEY WENT DOWN FOR SILVER… THEY’RE STILL DOWN THERE.

It opened as the Silver Dollar Mine, back when the silver was good. After enough cave-ins, bad air, and men who went down and never came up, the folks of Deadlands gave it a new name: Misery Mine.

Years ago it caved in for good and sealed the whole crew underground. Then someone found fresh silver in the lower tunnels, and the greed that built this place reopened it. New men were sent down. They haven’t come back.

Now you’re going in. Narrow tunnels, crushing dark, no air to spare, and the trapped miners still down there, still starving, still desperate to claw their way out. Do you dare brave the darkness for a little silver in your pocket?

Originally known as the Silver Dollar Mine, this once-lucrative mine made Deadlands rich. But the mountain took its toll, cave-ins, bad air, men who descended and didn’t return, year after year, until the locals stopped using the proper name. After enough funerals, only one name stuck: Misery Mine.

Then the mountain decided to keep the whole crew. A cave-in trapped them deep underground, just ordinary miners, regular men, with no way out and no way for anyone to reach them. Down in the dark, cut off, they ran out of food, ran out of hope, ran out of their minds, and finally turned on each other to last a few more days. None of it saved them. The mine was sealed and left to the dark.

It should have stayed that way. But someone found a fresh silver deposit in the unstable lower tunnels, and greed did what greed always does. Men were sent back down. They haven’t come back.

The mine is a place of cave-ins, bad air, crushing dark, and the trapped miners themselves, still down there, still starving, still clawing for a way out that no longer exists. There was definitely still some silver down there. Do you dare brave the darkness and misery, for a little silver in your pocket?

One of the best haunted houses I have been to!!! Last year my family and I had a mediocre experience at another event and I am so glad we chose this one this year. Food , games , actors up front and awesome sections. From the props to the actors everything was awesome!!! Misery Mine was our FAVORITE! Stop researching and go to this ASAP!!!
